Welkom bij De Voorzaan Haven

Kinderopvang De Voorzaan Haven is gevestigd in Zaandam en beschikt over een kinderdagverblijf en buitenschoolse opvang. Beide groepen bieden uitdaging voor kinderen in de leeftijd van 0 tot 13 jaar. De pedagogisch medewerkers dragen zorg voor de ontwikkeling van je kind(eren).

Daycare

De Voorzaan Haven is located in its own classroom in primary school ‘De Voorzaan Haven’. Together with the school, Babino forms an integrated child center (IKC). This means that we work together on the basis of one vision, one team and one plan. All children are followed in one continuous line within an IKC until they are 13 years old.

This location has one vertical group, which means that children from 0 to 4 years old are taken care of in one group. Because of this composition, there are both young babies and toddlers in the group. Every baby has its own rhythm, which the teachers follow separately for each child. The nursery and toddlers, on the other hand, have a common rhythm during the day.

The daycare is equipped with separate play corners with toys for children of different ages. For the youngest babies there is a floor box and a high box, in which they can play quietly themselves.

Inside, attention is paid to various activities that are in line with the monthly themes that are used. These themes change based on the seasons and holidays. In this way there is a varying range of fun activities for the children throughout the year.

In addition to its own classroom in the school, the daycare center makes use of the connected toddler playground and the outdoor area of the school. During the year, the children are taken outside as much as possible.

Van al dat spelen krijgen de kinderen natuurlijk trek. Er wordt gevarieerd gegeten op het kinderdagverblijf, waarbij de kinderen in de ochtend fruit en in de middag groenten eten. Tussen de middag wordt er een warme maaltijd aangeboden, in samenwerking met Apetito. De maaltijden zijn aangepast aan de verschillende leeftijden van de kinderen.

After-school care

Our BSO De Voorzaan Haven” is located in the south of Zaandam. Together with the daycare, the after-school care has its own wing in the school. There are 2 basic groups here, ‘het Blauwe Anker’ and ‘de Rode Zeilboot’. In the classroom of ‘het Blauwe Anker’, the children can play in the house corner, car corner or get creative. ‘De Rode Zeilboot’ has the large hall, including a building corner and where children can play a game together. They can use the gym for sporting activities, but there is also plenty of space outside. In addition to its own playground, there is a football field and a large playground where the children can use up their energy.

An activity is offered every day, but because after-school care time is also the free time of children, there is also plenty of time and space to relax and do your own thing.

Per vakantie wordt er een leuk, uitdagend en gevarieerd activiteitenprogramma gemaakt, inclusief uitstapje(s). Denk hierbij aan koken voor de lunch, sport- en spel, creatieve activiteiten en bijvoorbeeld een uitje naar het bos, een leuk speelpark of de bowlingbaan. De kinderen van Babino BSO-locatie De Gouw worden in vakanties ook bij buitenschoolse opvang De Voorzaan Haven opgevangen.

The children are picked up from school by the teachers or one of Babino's drivers. The children are picked up on foot, by bicycle, by BSO-bus or car. This depends on the distance and the opening hours of the schools. During transport, safety is absolutely paramount!

This BSO location, together with primary school ‘De Voorzaan Haven’, forms an integrated child center (IKC). An integrated child center is a place where everyone works together based on one vision, one team and one plan.

Monday to Friday from end of school - 18:30 (6:30 PM)

Monday to Friday from 7:00/8:00 am to 6:30 pm
