Location De Heidebijtjes is located in Assendelft and has a toddlercare and after-school care. Both groups are challengingly divided with corners and toys for children aged 2 to 4 years and from 4 to 13 years. The teachers guides the children in their development and ensures a safe learning environment.
Toddlercare
De Heidebijtjes forms, together with primary school ‘Ayundo’ and primary school ‘De Octant’, an integral child center (IKC). Children aged 2 to 4 years are guided as well as possible in their development, and are thus prepared for primary education in small steps.
At Toddlercare De Heidebijtjes, the teachers ensure a pleasant atmosphere in the group. The group room is designed for the development of the children. For each theme, different materials are taken out of the closet to show what the children are going to learn. Development-oriented activities are offered with the help of the VVE program Pyramid Digital.
The teachers adjust the daily rhythm to the needs of the children. When a child needs extra attention, time is made for this and the teachers offer support. In addition, the children have the opportunity to play with the available play material, both indoors and outdoors.

After-school care
Bij BSO De Heidebijtjes voelt het als thuiskomen. Door de gemoedelijke sfeer op de groep kunnen kinderen echt zichzelf zijn. Er zijn volop mogelijkheden om te knutselen en te bouwen. Ook kan er gespeeld worden in één van de fijne hoeken, of samen gezellig een spelletje gedaan worden. Op het aangrenzende speelplein kunnen de kinderen lekker hun energie kwijt, maar ook wordt er veel fantasiespel gedaan.

After-school care.
Maandag, dinsdag en donderdag van eindtijd school – 18.30 uur
Op woensdag en vrijdag vindt de opvang plaats bij BSO Olympia.
