Welkom bij Westzaan

Location Westzaan is located in Westzaan and has a daycare. The daycare is located at the office of Babino, the toddlercare is located on the schoolyard of primary school ‘De Kroosduiker Noord’.

Daycare

Westzaan is located in the beautiful and quiet Westzaan. It is a small-scale location with two separate groups: a baby group and a toddler group. These two groups are located next to each other and are separated by large windows and a hall. Each group has its own space where the children can play in the different play corners. In the baby group there is a separate ground box for the youngest babies where they can play quietly.

Doordat Kinderdagverblijf Westzaan een kleine locatie is en de groepen naast elkaar liggen, is er intensief contact tussen beide groepen. Dit zorgt voor een betrokken en vertrouwd gevoel, zowel voor de kinderen en ouders zoals jij als voor de pedagogisch medewerkers.

Each baby has its own rhythm, which the teachers follow separately for each child. The nursery and toddlers, on the other hand, have a common rhythm during the day.

For both the baby and toddler groups, the teachers go outside with the children as much as possible. The adjacent outdoor playground, which is used by the baby and toddler group, is not very large. Although children can play here on the bikes and in the sandbox, the pedagogical staff of this location often go out with the children. You can walk with the wagon to various playgrounds in the area or to the toddler square of Childcare Westzaan.

Inside, both groups often tinker. This is done on the basis of different themes that change again and again based on the seasons and the holidays.

Van al dat spelen krijgen de kinderen natuurlijk trek. Er wordt gevarieerd gegeten op het kinderdagverblijf, waarbij de kinderen in de ochtend fruit en in de middag groenten eten. Tussen de middag wordt er een warme maaltijd aangeboden, in samenwerking met Apetito. De maaltijden zijn aangepast aan de verschillende leeftijden van de kinderen.

Toddlercare

Toddlercare Westzaan is a small-scale establishment that is open in the mornings. The toddlercare is for children from 2 to 4 years old. The group room is located in the building next to primary school de Kroosduiker. Together with the primary school, we form an integral child centre (IKC), in which children are followed in one continuous learning line.

The space of the establishment is furnished with a wide range of materials. On the basis of the play corners, it is clear to see which theme was discussed during that period. On the square, the children can play in the playground or cycle and run. The square is located next to the schoolyard of the primary school, the children can make contact with each other and get acquainted for when they turn four.

De pedagogisch medewerkers bieden de kinderen en ouders zoals jij een warm welkom bij binnenkomst. Het contact met ouders zoals jij wordt goed onderhouden door de pedagogisch medewerkers, waardoor er een gemoedelijke sfeer heerst.
