Location De Dijk-Oost is located in Zaandam and has a toddlercare and after-school care. In collaboration with primary school ‘De Dijk’, Babino forms an integrated child center (IKC). Through this collaboration, the teachers can optimally guide children in their development.

Toddlercare

Peuteropvang De Dijk-Oost beschikt over een mooie groepsruimte bij OBS De Dijk. Samen met deze basisschool vormen wij een integraal kindcentrum (IKC). Er wordt gewerkt aan een makkelijke overgang naar het basisonderwijs. Op de peuteropvang worden de kinderen van 2 tot 4 jaar hierin zo goed mogelijk begeleidt.

At Toddlercare De Dijk-Oost, we work with the Pre- and Early School Education (VVE) program Pyramid Digital. With the help of this program, the teachers optimally respond to the needs of the children. The activities are adapted to the developmental level of the children.

The group room is arranged according to the theme that is being worked on. In addition to the cozy indoor space, the location also has a challenging playground where the children can play. The pedagogical staff take care of the well-being of the children and parents and give a warm handover at the end of the morning.

After-school care

After-school care De Dijk-Oost can best be described as 'cozy'. The location has two basic groups, the ‘Blauwe Meer’ and the ‘Groene Bos’, and also has a cozy chill-out area. Inside, the children can do crafts, play in the different corners, or just relax after a busy day at school.

Outside, people play on the adjacent playground, but the large schoolyard can also be used. The involved teachers create a pleasant atmosphere, where every child is seen.

An activity is offered every day, but because after-school care time is also the free time of children, there is also plenty of time and space to relax and do your own thing.

A fun, challenging and varied activity program is made for each holiday, including excursions. Think of cooking for lunch, sports and games, creative activities and, for example, a trip to the forest, a fun playground or the bowling alley. The children of Babino BSO location De Dijk-West are also taken care of during holidays at after-school care De Dijk-Oost.

This BSO location, together with primaty school ‘Herman Gorter’, forms an integrated child center (IKC). An integrated child center is a place where everyone works together based on one vision, one team and one plan.

After-school care.

Monday to Friday from end of school - 18:30 (6:30 PM)

Holiday care/study days:

Monday to Friday from 7:00/8:00 am to 6:30 pm
