Location Hannie Schaft is located in Zaandam and has a toddlercare and after-school care. Children between the ages of 2-4 and 4-13 years old are taken care of by our teachers in the groups. In collaboration with primary school Hannie Schaft, Babino forms an integral child center (IKC) to promote the continuous learning trajectory.

Toddlercare

Toddlercare Hannie Schaft offers childcare for children from 2 to 4 years old. The group space is located in the building of primary school Hannie Schaft, the children can already take a look at their future learning environment at primary school. In addition to primary school Hannie Schaft, this location also works together with primary school In ’t Veld, in this school we also have a toddler care location. Together with these schools, we form an integral child centre (IKC).

At Toddlercare Hannie Schaft, the children have the opportunity to play in the schoolyard. In the group room of the establishment, the interests of the children have been taken into account. There are several play corners, including a house and construction corner. Children can also take part in craft or play activities.

‘Hannie Schaft’ is known for the playful way in which the development of children is stimulated. The teachers also offer a safe learning environment and offer a suitable range of activities for the children.

After-school care

After-school care Hannie Schaft is our largest after-school care location, where the children are taken care of in 3 basic groups. The ‘Blauwe Zeepaard’ is the basic group for the youngest children. This space is used in the morning for toddlercare, but also offers sufficiently challenging play corners and materials for the children of the after-school care. In the main hall of the school are ‘Gele Zeester’ and ‘Groene Zeeschildpad’.

Here the children can play with different building materials, do crafts or play a game together. The two schoolyards can be used for outdoor play. On both squares there are playground equipment, on which the children can climb and clamber. They can also spend their energy well in the football cage or on one of the many bicycles.

An activity is offered every day, but because after-school care time is also the free time of children, there is also plenty of time and space to relax and do your own thing.

A fun, challenging and varied activity program is made for each holiday, including excursions. Think of cooking for lunch, sports and games, creative activities and, for example, a trip to the forest, a fun playground or the bowling alley.

The children will be picked up from school by the teachers or one of the drivers of Babino. The children are picked up on foot, by bicycle, by BSO-bus or by car. This depends on the distance and the opening hours of the schools. During transport, safety is paramount.

Together with primary school Hannie Schaft, this after-school care location forms an integral child centre (IKC). An integral child center is a place where everyone works together from one vision, one team and one plan.

Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM until the start of school.

After-school care.

Monday to Friday from end of school - 18:30 (6:30 PM)

Holiday care/study days:

Monday to Friday from 7:00/8:00 am to 6:30 pm
