InDijk-West
Location De Dijk-West is located in Zaandam and has a toddler care and after-school care. Children from 2 to 4 years old and from 4 to 13 years old are taken care of by our teachers. They offer the children a warm and safe learning environment.
Toddlercare
De Dijk-West forms an integrated child center (IKC) together with primary school ‘De Dijk’. A suitable offer is offered for children aged 2 to 4 in preparation for primary education. The teachers have regular consultations with each other and ensure an easy transition to primary school.
At Toddlercare De Dijk-west, the teachers offer a homely atmosphere to the children. Development-oriented activities are offered with the aid of the Pre- and Early School Education (VVE) program Pyramid Digital. In addition, the children have the opportunity to play in the challenging play corners. They can use their imagination for this.
In addition to the challenging indoor space, the children can also enjoy playing outside on the playground. Enjoy running, cycling and playing with the outdoor material. The location has its own outdoor space that is furnished with challenging material.

After-school care
After-school care De Dijk-West consists of two basic groups, ‘De Gele Koolmees’ and ‘De Rode vink’. In addition, the school's gymnasium can be used for fun exercise activities. Inside, the children can play in various challenging corners, get creative, or just relax.
Outside, children play on the adjacent playground, but the schoolyard can also be used. The teachers create a pleasant, homely atmosphere, where every child is seen.
An activity is offered every day, but because after-school time is also children's free time, there is also plenty of time and space to do their own thing.
The children of after-school care De Dijk-West are taken care of during holidays at Babino BSO location ‘De Dijk-Oost’. A fun, challenging and varied activity program is made for each holiday, including excursions. Think of cooking for lunch, sports and games, creative activities and, for example, a trip to the forest, a fun playground or the bowling alley.
This BSO location, together with primaty school ‘Herman Gorter’, forms an integrated child center (IKC). An integrated child center is a place where everyone works together based on one vision, one team and one plan.

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 7:00 AM - beginning school
After-school care.
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from end of school until 6:30 pm
Holiday care/study days:
Monday till Thursday from 07.00/08.00 AM - 18.30 PM
